Disinfection Coronavirus COVID-19

Disinfection Coronavirus COVID-19

COVID 19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) is a contagious respiratory disease caused by the SARS COV 2 virus.

The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic is currently a major global problem. Disinfecting rooms is very important for protecting public health. Some people cannot afford to stay at home all the time; they have to go to work and take care of their daily needs in order to isolate themselves from others. Therefore, it is essential to regularly disinfect public spaces, workplaces, etc.

We want to minimise the risk of contracting SARS-CoV-2 and carry out the disinfection services we have been commissioned to do conscientiously.

Prevention to reduce Covid 19 infections

The basic rules for preventing the transmission of coronavirus include:

  • Washing your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap or alcohol-based hand rub for at least 30 seconds. Please remember that hygiene is extremely important during a pandemic.
  • Maintaining physical distance from people who have flu-like symptoms and avoiding touching the mouth, nose and eyes.
  • Covering the mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing.
  • Wear a face mask if you are caring for someone who is ill or has respiratory symptoms. Make sure you do not infect others.

Spread of the Covid 19 -sars cov 2 Coronavirus

The virus spreads very quickly and lasts a long time on different surfaces. The coronavirus covid 19 is transmitted through contact with an infected person via airborne droplets, especially through secretions such as saliva, nasal secretions, coughing or sneezing. The survival time of the sars cov 2 virus on surfaces depends, among other things, on temperature, humidity and the surface material. It is difficult to say how long the coronavirus can survive, but surfaces such as plastic, glass and metal are less resistant and the virus can survive up to 8 days, while in the air it can survive for 3 hours. For this reason, the high contagiousness of the coronavirus makes it extremely important to disinfect all surfaces!

Room disinfection – methods of carrying out the procedure

Coronavirus disinfection – fogging

Disinfecting rooms by fogging is one of the best methods of removing viruses. Disinfection is carried out using a disinfectant that is distributed by a fogger. Cold ULV fogging is a treatment during which a cold mist is produced. The small droplets rise into the air and reach every corner, covering all surfaces. In this way, the fog kills all viruses, bacteria and other pathogenic microorganisms. The fogging agent used by Andrzej Panfil’s company is certified and approved for use against coronavirus.

Coronavirus disinfection – spraying with biocidal preparations

In order to carry out decontamination services on door handles, intercoms or staircase handrails, disinfection is usually carried out in the form of spraying. This is a traditional method that is carried out using hand sprayers with a pressure of up to 6 bar.

Coronavirus disinfection – ozonisation

Ozone generators are used to carry out ozonisation services. Ozone disinfection removes bacteria, viruses and fungi and their spores when the ozone concentration is 13 µg/dm3. Thanks to the ozonisation treatment, it is not necessary to use any bactericidal agents, and yet the air is still purified of viruses. Ozone is used to disinfect large and small areas. The advantage of using this method is that the gas penetrates into hard-to-reach places and crevices. The ozonisation disinfection service is an ecological treatment. It is important to remember that although ozone is safe, it can be poisonous if its concentration exceeds the standard. Harmful concentrations are those above 0.08 ppm in the air, at which point ozone is dangerous for all organisms. The duration of the treatment depends on the size of the area. It can last from 30 minutes to several hours.

Disinfection – Professional virus control!

The Disinfection, Pest Control and Rodent Control Department carries out disinfection by fogging and ozonisation, which eliminates the 2019-nCoV coronavirus. Ozonisation is carried out in the case of smaller rooms, where ozone effectively removes microbes, viruses and bacteria through its strong oxidising properties. Disinfection treatments require prior preparation of the rooms.

We are one of the few companies in Poland to have the latest ULV fogging equipment. This is a very efficient fogger with 20 spray nozzles that can be rotated left, right, up and down using a wireless remote control. Air Fog 3 also has 6 modes and automatic functions.

Disinfection during a pandemic to eliminate viruses and bacteria is extremely important to keep people safe!

We use chemicals approved for the fight against coronavirus. We invite you to use our service!
